Preparing a Greater Kogi State through industrial empowerment by Pharm. Asuku
So many youths across the state have benefited from the empowerment program within, while some were sent abroad for vocational technical courses to return and add value to the Development of the State through industrial revolution.
Leadership isn’t about propaganda.!
As the saying “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”.
The lockdown didn’t affect him from performing his daily duties from home/Office.
He got all the Qualities of leadership and that has qualified him to lead us beyond.
He is a “Leader that Lead by example”. As a leader you need to show, not just tell. Since you want your subjects to be law abiding. He is a peacemaker, he make sure everyone is carried along being it your size, former and present political leaders. Because he is aware that professionalism is a priority.
His humility has gone a long way. As a leader he shares the spotlight and comfortably crediting others. While it might seem counterintuitive, being humble takes more confidence than basking in glory. That is the reason people appreciate him and the government he work for also appreciated him for his commitment.
He knows the significant of Communication, he communicate Effectively because it is imperative, both in the office and in life. As a Great leader he make sure he is heard and understood, he listen polity to whoever being little or big as long as you have your way to meet him.
He keep meetings productive. As the saying goes, “time is money”. So, of course, he limit tangents and other time wasters during meetings. Since the team do their job effectively.
He Knows his limits, even the kindest, most caring leader has limits, he set boundaries and stick to them. as a human its not everything you will tolerate.
No man is an island, as they say. The best leaders out there know when they need help, and they know where to turn to in order to get it. Nobody can know everything, so finding someone you trust for advice when things get tough can make all of the difference. That is his Boss Governor Yahaya Bello as his Mentor.
While many people advise keeping emotions separate from matters of in the office place, he is emotionally aware that working place is ultimately about relationships between people. To make the relationships last, he is emotionally intelligent and sensitive to different points of view and different backgrounds.
He Watch out for things and avoid common pitfalls of leadership.
Everyone makes mistakes, but some of them are avoidable. So, Being aware of common mistakes, make his leadership acceptable by all.
He learn from the past mistakes of some leaders we have had in the past that some of them, their reigns is nothing to talk about. To once again quote an adage, “those who don’t learn from the past are doomed to repeat it”. History, recent and otherwise, is filled with examples of successful leadership and spectacular leadership failures. He Think about what the people he admire do well, and consider what went wrong for those who end their careers mired in scandal or disgrace. Because he believe Lessons can be found everywhere.
His mind is open to new ideas and possibilities. That is why he Never stop improving.
Great leader indeed, as a great leader he constantly learn and always trying to improve himself.
I sincerely wrote to urge the good people of Kogi State to think beyond deeply and have it in mind that we still have great people in the Government of GYB, who will continue the Good work.
